About Hervé Tisserand

Bonjour, I’m Hervé Tisserand.

Originally from Lyon, France, I have been based in Japan for over two decades. I am a native French teacher, English-to-French translator, and language professional with a background in history and cross-cultural communication.

I help international learners improve their French through clear, structured, and practical online French lessons. My courses cover all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners, and include conversation practice, grammar, pronunciation, professional French, and preparation for the DELF and DALF exams.

Alongside my teaching work, I provide professional English-to-French translation, proofreading, localization, and MTPE services. My translation experience covers more than 17 years and includes projects in technology, IT, tourism, e-commerce, social sciences, humanities, education, and cultural content.

My work is shaped by three complementary strengths: linguistic precision, pedagogical clarity, and long-term intercultural experience between France and Japan.
